JWM Consulting is headed by John McVey who has over 35 years of diverse and hands-on experience in the mining, energy, and resources sectors. Most recently, John served as CEO Procon Mining (2015-2024), a leading provider of underground mine development and construction services for the Canadian mining industry. He also spent 15 years in the Bechtel organization in a variety of roles including Mining & Metals Country Manager, Canada and as President of Bantrel. John has considerable experience with remote project execution, engaging and partnering with Indigenous businesses, and overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and growth of Canadian contractor and EPC companies.
