Notable achievements include negotiating the acquisition of the Detour gold mine property for Pelangio Larder Mines and participating in founding Detour Gold Corp., a Canadian gold mining company which attained a market capitalization in excess of $5 billion. Ms. Hibbard also negotiated the acquisition of a district size land package in Ghana, adjacent and on strike with the 70 million ounce Obuasi Mine owned by AngloGold Ashanti.

Accomplished C-suite executive and registered professional mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience leading ten mining operations on two continents. Experienced in all facets of the mining cycle, including exploration, permitting, corporate and regulatory, First Nations negotiations, project financing and investor relations. Achieved record production at the Pine Cove operation exiting the yearly output for 30%. Evaluate, acquired and constructed Stoger Tight Mine in Newfoundland. Developed the Argyle mine into profitable gold mining operation, acquired and developed into feasibility stage the Goldboro project in Nova Scotia. Raised $4.2M to finance Quebec exploration assets.

Natalie is an expert at identifying, monitoring, and mitigating threats that can prevent organizations from achieving strategic goals and objectives. Natalie started career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where she provided oversight of a wide array of US and foreign banks. Natalie’s more recent experiences include governance and execution of the Risk Management framework, Operational Risk Program Operational Risk Stress Testing, and advisory and oversight to Business Units in advancing and strengthening risk management practices across the enterprise.
